Course Overview:
This Government & Economics course equips students with a foundational understanding of how our nation functions and how to wisely manage the resources God has entrusted to them. In the fall semester, students will study the structure and function of the United States government, including the Constitution, branches of government, civic responsibility, and the role of citizens in society. In the spring semester, students will explore the principles of economics, learning how money works, the basics of budgeting, saving, investing, and stewardship of their own money. Through engaging discussions, real-world applications, and Biblically-based teaching, students will be encouraged to think critically, lead responsibly, and honor God in both citizenship and financial decision-making.
Upon completion, this class will equal 1/2 Government Credit AND 1/2 Economics Credit on HS Transcript
