**Our 2026–2027 Beta Club officers will be announced following this week’s election.

Leadership chosen by the members. Service guided by Christ.

National Beta is built around four pillars: Achievement, Character, Leadership, and Service. Its motto is “Let Us Lead by Serving Others.” Beta provides students with opportunities to grow as leaders, develop strong character, serve their communities, showcase their talents, and build friendships along the way. Members can also participate in state and national events, leadership opportunities, and, for eligible seniors, National Beta scholarship opportunities.

At PHC, we want to take those principles one step further by teaching our students what it looks like to serve like Jesus. We want Beta to be more than a title on a transcript. We want it to be a place where students learn to notice people, meet needs, encourage others, lead with humility, and make a difference wherever God places them.

⭐PHC BETA CLUB EXPECTATIONS ⭐

📅 Attend Mandatory Monthly Meetings
We will meet once a month on Wednesdays during lunch at PHC. Meetings will be a time to connect, learn, and prepare for our service projects. Beta Club meetings are found on the school calendar on the website: https://pearlandhomeschoolconnection.com/calendar/

💚 Students are required to have 25 Hours of Service for the school year
Each Beta member is expected to complete at least 25 total service hours during the school year. Students could meet this requirement with PHC service projects alone. Outside service hours (not done through PHC) are welcomed and accepted. Each Beta club member will have a portal on the Beta Club website to register their service hours done outside of PHC.

🙌 Attend 6 PHC Service Projects
Members must participate in at least 6 PHC-sponsored service projects throughout the school year. We will have plenty of opportunities to serve together, so come ready to jump in!

📚 Academic Excellence
Beta members are expected to maintain an A/B average throughout the school year. As Beta students, we want to encourage one another to pursue excellence in the classroom while also growing as leaders and servants. There is grace here, but failing your classes is not an option.

👕 Wear Your Beta T-Shirt
Every member will receive a PHC Beta Club T-shirt to wear on Beta meeting days at PHC and at our volunteer/service events. We want everyone to look like a team and represent Beta with pride!

🗳️ Beta Club Leadership Elections
Our Beta members have the opportunity to lead from within the club! We will be electing a President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer.

💰 Annual Dues: $60 for the school year

Our hope is that students will leave Beta Club with more than completed service hours. We want them to understand why we serve and to develop a lifelong desire to use their gifts, abilities, and influence to serve others and honor Christ.

We are looking forward to a wonderful year of learning, leading, and serving together!
