Course Description:

This course introduces you to the essentials of drone operations, professional videography, and video editing. Through hands-on projects, collaborative discussions, and creative assignments, you will master the art of cinematography, flight control, and multi-camera production, learning to seamlessly blend footage from smartphones, DSLRs, action cameras, and drones into a polished post-production workflow through editing. Because great filmmaking relies on teamwork, you will collaborate closely with your peers to share your work, exchange constructive feedback, and bring unique creative projects to life.

By the end of this journey, you will have developed a professional-level understanding of videography, drone flight, and video editing.

*Students 16 years or older will have the opportunity to prepare for the FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate exam during the final weeks of the course.

Ultimately, this class is about much more than just technical skills. It is a space for creative expression, teamwork, and storytelling. As you find your unique creative voice, you will build the confidence, collaborative skills, and portfolio needed to fuel future creative careers or lifelong hobbies.
