Course Description:

This class is for students who have already taken a beginner sewing class and feel confident in using a sewing machine.

This class will be going over the fundamentals of garment making and expanding student’s current sewing skills (and wardrobe!) They will learn how to properly measure and determine sizing and follow pattern instructions while taking on new, challenging techniques. We will also touch base on fashion around the world and throughout history before our class service project, where our students will make dresses for young girls to donate to Dress a Girl Around the World.

Upon completion, this class will equal One Elective Credit on HS Transcript
