Hannah Jones

About

Hannah Jones is a homeschooling mom of four who has been teaching her children at home since 2018. She and her husband, Daniel, attend Sagemont Church, where they serve in several ministries. Hannah loves helping students get excited about learning and discovering the incredible world God created.

Hannah holds a degree in Mass Communications from Ouachita Baptist University and an alternative teaching certification from Weatherford College. Before beginning her homeschooling journey, she taught in the public school system for seven years—three years in the classroom and four years virtually. She has a passion for learning and often drives her kids crazy with her fascination for plants, weather, and outer space. These interests frequently inspire family conversations and adventures that point back to God’s creativity and design.

When she’s not teaching or homeschooling, Hannah works part-time as the Event Marketing Director for Chick-fil-A Pasadena, where she enjoys building relationships in the community through store events, school partnerships, and charitable opportunities.

In her spare time, Hannah can usually be found chauffeuring her children to their many activities, vacuuming up after her two Golden Retrievers, Tex and Daisy, sipping an iced coffee or Coke Zero, or enthusiastically starting a new project before finishing the current one. She is also an avid reader, finishing around 100 books each year (and yes, audiobooks absolutely count!). Historical fiction is one of her favorite genres because it brings history to life through engaging stories and fresh perspectives.

Hannah is excited to share her curiosity, love of learning, and sense of wonder with her PHC students this year!
