Course Description:

The Early Church and the Middle Ages covers the spread of Christianity (A.D. 33) to the invention of the printing press (1456).  We will combine early church history with worldwide events of the Middle Ages.  We will explore New Testament figures, the fall of Rome, Vikings, the Crusades, knights, kings, queens, scientists and more. Through mapping, activities, timelines, games and quizzes, the students will explore the lives of many Middle Age figures.
