Course Description:

In Year Two, students will continue using the Equipping Minds program to strengthen and connect neural pathways. Students will further develop auditory and visual processing, working and long-term memory, comprehension, and attention through targeted games and exercises. The class will also focus on spelling skills in a creative and memorable way, using mnemonics, pictures, tiles, and games. Throughout the year, students will work with the 1,200 most frequently used words in the English language and learn key spelling rules to support confident, accurate writing.

*PREREQUISITE: Students must have completed Year 1 of Equipping Minds to enroll in this class
