Course Description:

Yearbook is a hands-on course where students develop creative and technical skills while producing the school’s annual yearbook. Students learn the fundamentals of digital design, including layout, typography, and visual storytelling, using industry-standard software. The course also introduces basic photography skills such as composition, lighting, and photo editing to capture high-quality images of school events, activities, and student life. In addition, students collaborate to plan, design, and assemble the yearbook from start to finish, gaining experience in project management, meeting deadlines, and publishing. This class encourages creativity, teamwork, and responsibility while creating a lasting record of the school year.
