Course Description:

This class is for students who have already taken a beginner sewing class and feel confident in using a sewing machine. Students will learn how to sew a top, skirt, dress, and pants using a pattern of their choice that is approved by the instructor and purchase fabric of their choosing for their pieces. The students will learn how to properly measure themselves in order to determine their correct size, read pattern instructions, learn how to make fitting adjustments to their pattern, and learn more advanced construction techniques. As a service project, we will be making dresses to donate to Dress a Girl Around the World. Once your student takes this class, they will want to start making all their own garments!
