Landon Moore

Hi, I am Landon Moore. My wife and I have 1 daughter that we homeschooled since she was four years old, and who now serves as a “sent one” with her family in the Middle East.
I went to Georgia Tech in Atlanta, GA where I received my Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering. I am a recently retired NASA engineer of 37 years. I love to build things from docking systems of Space Shuttle to houses and furniture. The first house we bought after we were married was in terrible shape. We had to gut the whole house taking it back to the studs and remodel it entirely. A few years after that, we bought property in Alvin and built a shop with an apartment above it. We then lived in that apartment for about seven years while we built the main house. Again, we did virtually all the work ourselves and it is a timber framed house.
I enjoy construction and building things of all kinds, fun, woodworking, gardening, and most of all being a granddaddy!
