Course Description:

Spanish 2 builds upon the foundational skills acquired in Spanish 1, deepening students’ understanding of the Spanish language and Hispanic cultures. This course focuses on expanding vocabulary, mastering intermediate grammar concepts, and enhancing communication skills through listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Emphasis is placed on improving pronunciation, constructing more complex sentences, and developing conversational fluency. Students will practice repetition with music and games while working through “BJU Spanish 2”. By the end of the course, students will be able to express opinions and interact in real-life scenarios with greater confidence.   

Prerequisite: Spanish 1 or equivalent proficiency.                         

Upon completion, this class will equal One Language Credit on HS Transcript
