Course Description:

This Theatre Arts class, one of the only classes available to homeschoolers in our area, provides students with an engaging and creative environment to develop their acting, communication, and performance skills. Through a variety of interactive activities, students will strengthen their confidence, stage presence, character development, memorization, improvisation, and storytelling abilities.

Students will explore the creative process by working individually and collaboratively to develop original performances inspired by a variety of themes and settings. They will learn how to bring characters to life, interpret scripts, create original scenes, and refine their acting techniques through guided practice and performance opportunities.

Students will have opportunities each semester to showcase their work and growing talents for the PHC community and possible outside venues .
