Michelle Guel

About

My name is Michelle Guel and I am a practicing interior designer who has been in the industry for nearly a decade. I have a degree in Merchandise Marketing from FIDM (Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising) as well as a degree in Business Administration, which I’ve used to build a career helping clients transform their homes.

My projects range from full renovations and new builds to furnishing and decor refreshes. Driven by a love for all things home and homemaking, I take pride in every project—believing that our homes are the most important space we inhabit. In the design process, my approach is to partner with my clients, help them understand the style they love and create a design that reflects their personality & their need for the space. My work has been featured on the Channel 2 afternoon show, Houston Life, not once but twice, where I shared practical interior design tips to help viewers feel confident transforming their own spaces.

I draw inspiration from spending quality time with my family outdoors in our home garden or at the beach, finding one of a kind items at antique shops, and traveling to new places. My goal is to bring that same mindset and care to my students, empowering them to think creatively, problem-solve, and develop practical life skills through design. I hope to help students recognize how their own interests and strengths can translate into real-world careers. I am honored to share my love for Jesus and my interior design knowledge with the next generation of designers.
